El prof. Yunus, Premio Nobel de la Paz, tiene una nueva visión para resolver los problemas globales que estamos viendo, en el mundo. Los negocios sociales son impulsados por una causa. Los inversionistas o dueños poco a poco pueden ir recuperando el dinero invertido, pueden tomar el dividendo en un punto en que sea moralmente ético. Ese punto es difícil aun en Chile de entender, pero ya hay países que lo están haciendo. Como se aprende en las escuelas de negocios chilenas, la maximización de utilidades, con el mínimo de inversión y con la mayor reducción de costos es básico. 
Los negocios sociales van mucho más allá que sólo acumular riqueza personal. Los negocios sociales dan un paso más “Humano”, para lograr uno o más objetivos sociales a través de la operación de la empresa, más que sólo el beneficio personal o el deseado por los inversionistas. El negocio debe cubrir todos los costos y obtener beneficios, al mismo tiempo, para de esta forma, lograr el objetivo social. Objetivos tales como; salarios justos para el aumento de la productividad. 
El éxito de los negocios sociales se mide por el impacto de la actividad y calidad de vida en las personas, en lugar de la cantidad de dinero acumulado. Aclaraciones sobre los negocios sociales. Es ilógico, y toma a todo el mundo por sorpresa y vaya que se entiende perfectamente la sorpresa. Vamos a aclarar esto: primero que nada no se está pidiendo que las personas renuncie a sus negocios.
La idea de "renunciar a algo” crea un tremendo shock. El paradigma de Yunus, respecto a crear empresas sociales,  no está pidiendo a nadie "renunciar" a cualquier cosa. Todo lo que está diciendo, es que si usted está preocupado acerca de un problema social (mientras está totalmente dedicado a su negocio de rutina empresarial), Usted puede hacer una contribución significativa para resolver el problema que nos involucra a todos. Podríamos abrir la puerta para eliminar un problema a nivel mundial. Usted elije. Reinvertir su dinero en su propia compañía y hacerla crecer, beneficia a todo el mundo dentro de la misma empresa, desde el portero, al propietario, empresario, clientes, la comunidad, la región, el país y hasta todo el planeta. Entonces usted efectivamente habrá hecho un aporte para humanizar la economía que perdió hace tiempo su rumbo por la avaricia de personas. The vision of Prof. Muhammad Yunus, Nobel Peace Prize winner, is that many global problems we face can be solved through the creation of Social Business. This is a form of business that is mainly driven by a cause, rather than by traditionally business school objectives such as profit maximization with minimal investment and cost reduction.

The social business concept goes far beyond accomplishing personal or investor goals. It is focused on the human being and seeks to achieve one or more social objectives through a company. In this new form of company, all costs are covered so that investors or owners recover their investment, albeit through a reduced dividend distribution policy that places the social cause first, thus bringing a new perspective to what is morally ethical.

This new concept of social business allows obtaining benefits, but under the condition that benefits are maintained in the company and reinvested; investors and shareholders receive a fair retribution equal for their investment. Thus social business brings a new dimension to the business world and a new sense of social awareness among the community.

If social objectives can be achieved more efficiently and effectively by adopting a social business format that is sustainable, then, why not take this venue? Why give up the notion of profit, if it has established itself in mankind as a key performance indicator? To abandon the idea is quite illogical and contravenes the essence of the human beings. To do so would cause great surprise. To be totally clear: a social business does not ask people to give up a retribution for their effort.

The idea of ​​"giving something up" was usually cause a tremendous shock in any human. The paradigm of Prof. Yunus for social enterprise does not ask anyone to "give anything up". Social Business Schools

In order to extend the concept and practice of social business we are inaugurating the first Yunus Social Business Schools in Bolivia and Chile. Our purpose, establish a model that may be replicated in every Latin American country. Our principal, HUMANA PRIMUM:  the human being first.

Through the business schools we intend to extend the concept of social business so that it may quickly be replicated in all Latin America. Anybody may become a student. We have created a certificate program for people without previous formal education; diplomas for those that have post graduate studies and an MBA program.

On June 7^th was inagurated the Social Business School in Constitución, Región del Maule, Chile. Classes begin June 16^th, and very shortly in Bolivia. It is our intention to follow this initiative in Haiti, Peru, Argentina and Colombia and all over the world.

Preparándose para ser conscientes o inconscientes, recuerdo que en 1987, se estaba formando una serie de impresionantes "movimientos positivos”. Hoy han tomado mucha fuerza. Bueno a nuestro país le tomó casi 200 años entender que teníamos que bajar las tasas de aranceles, somos más lentos en entender. Pero no todo no es tan malo, si todos miramos las cosas positivamente, todo sucede a su tiempo, inspirando a algunas personas a declarar una convergencia casi unánime de gente pensante como Mandela, Yunus, Clinton, Kofi Annan y muchos más la tonta idea de hacer un mundo mejor, que ridículos… Y se está logrando en todo el mundo, excepto en nuestro país.
La idea de conseguir que empresarios, organizaciones, autoridades de todo el mundo actúen al mismo tiempo por la paz mundial; crear una mayor conciencia colectiva por la justicia social y cuidado del medio ambiente poniendo al ser humano primero, aquí estamos lejos de alcanzar eso. Esto ha funcionado en muchas partes del planeta y en Chile ¿Funciona? Pues bien, la paz, justicia social, el respeto al medio ambiento a las prácticas laborales decentes, todavía puede parecer tan difícil de alcanzar como siempre, pero muchos de nosotros pueden dar fe de "crecimiento".
Desde 1985 cuando el Banco Mundial nos ayudó a salir del caos económico que teníamos, Chile tenía una economía libre de mercado abierta y mixta (equilibrio de las políticas monetarias y fiscales) hasta 1989 cuando gano el “No” y los gobiernos agregaron un ingrediente más a la economía “y social”, pero en el 2010 finalmente muchos lograron entender que nuestro país “no” tenía una economía “neoliberal”, y con mucha suerte encontraba gente que sabía que teníamos una economía libre de mercado abierta, mixta y social, nadie sabía cómo funcionaba el modelo que nos dejó el Banco Mundial, pero el país progresó.
Hoy tenemos una economía netamente capitalista, que no se auto-regula, y que haciéndonos competir, solo hace un daño a la sociedad (por las externalidades: salud, ambiente, educación y más), porque está pasado de moda, y porque tenemos esta economía mixta monetarista (que hoy es controlada por el gobierno y dejó de ser autónoma, es decir hemos retrocedido 50 años al menos) y la política fiscal (liberales) que ya también está pasando de moda, cuando vemos que la austeridad, solo lleva al caos en todas partes del mundo; porque el capitalismo solo, no se auto-regula, el Estado debe intervenir pero las autoridades se quedaron pegadas con Milton Friedman y se les olvidó la globalización.
La nueva economía para solucionar todo es la “Economía de los Negocios Sociales”, que ojalá se implemente en el país. Es el mismo modelo que se enseña en las escuelas de negocios (“maximización de utilidades, mínimo inversión y reducción de costos”), pero que el Premio Nobel de la Paz Yunus dice: se le enseña a la gente a reinvertir un porcentaje de las utilidades en la empresa para mejorar los salarios, capacitación, pertenencia a la empresa, aumenta la productividad y todos se benefician. Así se solucionan todos los problemas sociales. Hoy es la única salida y vean lo que están haciendo Mandela, Yunus, Clinton, Kofi Annan y muchos más.
